EV9 2023
Full-size electric SUV 2021-2023
The EV9 embodies Kia’s Opposites United philosophy, combining bold form language with a modern, refined CMF direction. As Kia’s flagship EV, it establishes a new benchmark for sustainable luxury within the brand.
Its interior integrates Kia’s “10 Must-Have Items”—a suite of bio-based, recycled, and eco-friendly materials developed to minimize environmental impact. Applied holistically throughout the cabin, these materials deliver an innovative and future-focused CMF experience.
K8 2021
Premium sedan 2017-2021
The CMF direction for the K8 is defined as Modern & Stylish Luxury, expressing the character of a refined semi-large premium sedan. Low-chroma exterior colors, accented with subtle pearl effects and deep tones, enhance its sophisticated presence.
Inside, the K8 blends premium craftsmanship with a contemporary high-tech atmosphere. The result is a balanced interior identity that reflects both luxury and modern design sensibilities.
SOUL 2019
CUV 2015-2019
The 3rd generation Soul adopts a Sporty & Unique CMF concept, strengthening the expressive personality of Kia’s iconic box-type CUV. CMF details were differentiated across the STD, AWD, and EV variants to emphasize each model’s unique identity.
Compared to the previous generation, the new Soul enhances its high-tech character and expands opportunities for personalization. A wide range of customizable options enables drivers to express individual style and playful creativity.
NIRO 2017
Hybrid Utility Vehicle 2014-2017
The Niro is a hybrid CUV designed to balance appealing style with everyday practicality. Its CMF direction, defined as Future-Oriented, creates an inviting and modern interior with a clean, high-tech impression. Glossy white and black accents support its straightforward theme.
For the exterior, a palette of monotone and medium-tone colors reinforces the Niro’s urban character. Together, these choices establish a cohesive CMF identity for this contemporary hybrid vehicle.
SOUL 2014
CUV 2011-2015
The 2nd generation Soul maintains the original model’s iconic design while elevating refinement and perceived value. Its CMF direction incorporates trendy and fashionable elements that reflect the vehicle’s youthful and energetic personality.
To enhance interior quality, soft-touch materials were applied to major touchpoints, complemented by premium touches such as leather seating options and high-gloss piano black finishes. These details create a more polished and sophisticated cabin experience.
